The brand “Clayologie” was officially launched in April 2016 after years of research, testing and development. A world-class product having been achieved, the company changed its focus from R&D to production of a consistent range of superior polymer clays. Clayologie clays are proudly made in Cape Town, South Africa and can be shipped across the globe.
Our clays are used by top internationally renowned artists who say we sell high quality and versatile products that can be used by artists and crafters, young and old, to create anything from delicate flowers to sculptures. Unlike air drying clays, our products remain workable for long periods and are only cured by heat – baking at 130C for 30 – 40 minutes in a domestic oven.
Besides manufacturing polymer clays, we also sell a small range of tools and other products that have been carefully selected to enhance your craftsmanship and your creations.
Sales are achieved via our e-commerce website at Clayologie.com (where the full range of clays and related products is available and easy to order at your convenience) as well as through various stockists and a team of facilitators. Facilitators are independent artists that are experienced in the use of our products, some keep stock, provide training and artistic support.
Just as our shop is designed to provide you with ordering access 24 hours a day, our Facebook pages (search for Clayologie or Clayologie stockists) are popular forums where we, stockists, facilitators and the public share news, tips, tutorials and images of creations crafted from Clayologie clays.
Our business philosophy is to provide an excellent, personalised service to our growing family of artists. Please connect with us at Clayologie.com for orders or via Facebook and Pinterest for ideas and inspiration. We look forward to serving you,
